Columbia area churches have an opportunity to attend a timely film dealing with issues surrounding incarceration of African American males, re-entry for returning citizens, struggles with faith, and the role of the church in helping these populations. In the Columbia / Boone county area, we receive roughly 40 people a month back from prison. That is over 1 person a day re-entering our society in need of love, support, and life transformation.
On Wednesday, September 28 at 7:30pm, a new Christian film in Hollywood, “Restored Me” (www.areyourestored.com), will be shown at Regal Stadium 14 Theaters. This one-time showing will include appearances by filmmakers and a 45-minute time after the film for discussion and corporate prayer relating to the content described above. Expected end-time at 10:30pm
