Every Christian has been given spiritual gifts (see 1 Cor 12; 14; Rom 12; 1 Pet 4). You are wired in such a way by God as to be of service to Him and others. (Leader) Serving Needs & Expectations

  • Disciple others and teach others how to disciple
  • Lead the group in outreach opportunities to share Jesus and love our community
  • Attend quarterly small group leader’s meeting
  • Identify and train other small group leaders

  • Love people through hospitality
  • Arrive early to set up and stay late to tear down the service and for special events
  • Help the worship team lead the church into God’s presence by working the sound booth, lights, and PowerPoint
  • Direct traffic and provide extra security
  • Serve 2 Sundays a month

  • Attend quarterly planning meetings
  • Lead through prayer and teaching of the curriculum
  • Love the youth and their families by prayer for and reaching out to them on a regular basis
  • Serve 1-2 Sundays a month

  • Arrive early to set up the refreshments and connections tables and stay late to clean up if necessary
  • Identify new guests, show them around, and introduce them to others
  • Serve 2 Sundays a month

  • Attend monthly planning meetings
  • Lead through prayer, teaching of Scripture, and outreach opportunities

  • Lead the church into the God’s presence through music
  • Attend worship practice (during weeks you are on set) & semi-monthly Worship Team meetings
  • Arrive early to set up and stay late to tear down the worship area for service and special events
  • Spend personal time alone with God and pray consistently
  • Have been discipled or are being discipled
  • Serve 1-2 Sundays a month

  • Partner with God on behalf of the church members by interceding for them
  • Attend monthly prayer meetings and weekly Wednesday night prayer
  • Have been discipled or are being discipled
  • Serve on specific prayer teams, Sunday discussion groups, and at prayer / worship events
